Dr. Dawit Ejigu
Associate Faculty of CDT-Africa-
Dawit is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at St Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College. He also leads the ClinOps Clinical Operations training Program at CDT-Africa.
He serves in several international and national efforts such as a member of the training working group of the Global Health Clinical Consortium (GHCC). He also recently joined as a member of the working group of the GHCC for scaling up decentralized clinical trials in LMICs. Dawit also serves on a national advisory committee of the Ethiopian FDA (the regulatory authority) and is a member of the AHRI IRB.
In the past, He has led a malaria vaccine development consortium and has worked for various international organizations including Staten Serum Institute (SSI) in Denmark; European Vaccine Initiative (EVI) in Germany; and AMANET in Tanzania in the positions of Quality Assurance Manager, Project Manager, and Sponsor representative respectively.
